Hazel is our UK import! She comes from a superb breeder Charlotte Freeman of Eagleriver Dogs. It was quite an adventure getting a puppy from the UK and we can’t thank Charlotte & Dan enough for all the help in making it happen and for letting Hazel come live with us. You can read about Chief the Bo/Java pup we sent over to them here! It’s very exciting to have one of our pups all the way in the UK with an amazing breeder.

Hazel is a liver German Shepherd with deep dark chocolate coloring. I often refer to her as my little chocolate drop! Even though she’s not so little anymore. She is a long coat with an incredibly thick coat! She is a big boned girl with a beautiful head and straight back structure. Hazel is a family dog through & through and wants nothing more than to be by your side and she adores our toddler son! She is a really happy & sweet girl and she loves a good cuddle session. She likes going on walks/car rides & exploring. She LOVES playing in the water & any type of squeaky toy. She can be aloof with strangers but warms up quickly. Hazel has earned her AKC Canine Good Citizen title! She has a great food drive so she is very easy to train and we are working on getting her titled in AKC scent work as well! She loves using her nose and really enjoys scent work training. Hazel is an amazing addition to our breeding program. We really look forward to having puppies from Hazel and expanding & improving the liver German Shepherd lines here in the USA.
